Another day, another step closer.
The past couple days, it’s been a bit harder to get into that “flow state” you often hear people talk about. Dialogue has felt like a struggle, trying to find the right tone has been a battle. I’ve found myself staring at the words on the screen for hours, picking it up and putting it back down again frequently and feeling like I’m getting nowhere. I even started the day today by completely deleting everything I’d written yesterday and starting it over again.
And yet, progress has still been made. And I’m proud for having pushed through it, where in the past I may have simply thrown my hands up and said to hell with it.
But I’m invested in these characters I’ve created now, and I want to keep exploring their story. It won’t always be easy. Nothing worth having ever is. But I want to follow this path wherever it may lead, and I hope you’ll come along.
